Conde Nast Video is looking for an efficient, creative and enthusiastic intern to join our small team in the newly created Video department. You will be ideas driven with a sound and savvy understanding of the Internet and you will work with the video team to research and contribute ideas and assist in translating them to video commissions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and confident.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with completing department AV and picture logs, updating databases and helping to keep digital files up to date
  • Working closely with the creative team to research and prep briefs
  • Working closely with the creative team to put together images and clips for presentations and other content
  • Assisting the Production team with production paperwork
  • Assisting on shoots as part of the team when required

ITV News – Trainee Production Specialist

Location: Leeds

We are looking for a Trainee Production Specialist to join the news team who produce our award winning news programmes and bulletins at ITV Calendar. As our Trainee Production Specialist you will work as part of a multi-skilled team providing technical, craft, operational and administrative skills across all areas of the news service.

You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and to move between different duties on a daily basis as the needs of a busy and vibrant news operation require. With training and guidance, you will be able to develop your skills and experience in areas from live studio operations, gallery timing,
editing, media management, frontline technical support through to production administration and scheduling.

The rostered hours will include weekend working, late shifts as well as early morning shifts.

As our Trainee Production Specialist, you will ideally may have a technical degree and will certainly have a passion for live TV news production, particularly in a technical or operational or support capacity. You will be a highly motivated individual as well as friendly and approachable, you will be committed to working as part of a successful team, sharing the responsibility for supporting programme production by having the willingness and aptitude to learn many new skills with appropriate training. Above all you will be an excellent communicator who is quick thinking and calm under pressure with strong and decisive decision making skills.
